  • "A group of 10 of us rented 2 houses in Minneiska, MN from 7-13 to 7-19-2019. We were about 70 miles from our destination when my bike started making strange noises. We made it to the house in Minneiska on Saturday 7-13-2019 at about 5pm. I called my HOG roadside and was told Rochester Harley Davidson was the closest dealer to be towed into. HOG set up a tow with a company called PULVER TOWING in Rochester, MN. (Excellent company), I give them a 5-star rating.

    The dealer is closed on Sunday's so on Monday July 15, 2019 I was towed to Rochester HD. Upon arriving at the dealer @ approximately 10:30, I went into the service department and spoke with Cory (Service Writer). I explained the issue with my bike (2006 Heritage Softail Classic 36,000 miles). Cory informed me that he was booked for the day. I explained that I was traveling on vacation from the Chicago area so if he could do anything to help me, I would appreciate it. Upon hearing my situation, Cory had their lead technician (Luke) come out and listen to my bike, he took it for a short ride and then pulled it into the service center. Luke removed the primary cover and found the bolt holding the rotor to the crank had come loose and damaged the rotor. They didn't have the part in stock but did locate it at another dealer about an hour away. I called the other dealer and made sure that they would hold the part for me until I got there. Rochester HD was ok with me going to get the part.

    By this time the owner (Judy) had overheard the conversation and asked how I would get part. I explained my brother in-law had followed the tow truck, to the dealer so we would ride to the other dealer to get it. Judy stated it was too hot & humid (90+ deg out) and handed me the keys to her personal car and said enjoy the air conditioning. Upon returning to the dealer with the part, Luke immediately returned to work on my bike. When the work was finished, and mind you in a very timely manner and reasonably priced, Judy also gave me a discount and stated " I hope that you enjoy the rest of your vacation".

    I don't normally do reviews however Judy and her entire team at Rochester Harley Davidson went above and beyond my wildest expectations. I will make sure that I tell everyone I know if they are ever near Rochester, MN to stop at Rochester Harley Davidson. It's good to know that there are still good people in this world.

    Thank You Rochester Harley Davidson, Judy, Cory and Luke. You turned a very bad situation into a very pleasant experience.

  • "I purchased my 2014 Limited in Sept last year. I picked it up in Rochester and rode it immediately to Scottsdale Arizona. Last week Jake called me directly. Apparently he was checking on my recalls and it turns out HD Scottsdale had missed the front brake recall. Jake had no reason to worry about my bike as I live full time in Scottsdale. True to his roots in customer service he contacted me and I was able to have the recall issue resolved. Without Jake's call I would have continued to ride "assuming" all was well. I live almost 2,000 miles from Rochester HD and will continue to purchase my bikes from John/Judy and now Jake."

See i was in a dilemma were it wasnt looking good for my trip through 6 states taking a nice road trip and thinking it had came to an abrupt end but in talking to Darrel on the phone figuring pretty much out what the problem was ask me to get it there as fast as i could and in getting there having ,e pull it right in there shop fixed it in record time and had me back on my 4,300 mile trip and in asking what i owed gave me a hand shake and said have a great trip.... OMG was a great feeling to be treated that way... and to the tec that spun the bolts didnt get your name but thanks for your contribution... and for your kindness on my next purchase ill diffenitly take a boat ride across the pond for a lil road trip and check you all out.... If everything works for you as it did for me, Judy will offer you the best price anywhere when you make your deal, and that is a fact, not just hot air. When you begin to add custom features to your bike, Jake is the guy to help you. Jake is intelligent, gives good advice and is pleasant, polite and courteous. Co-owner Big John reminds me of a bear coming out of hibernation. Sometimes he yawns and says hello, and sometimes he growls. His wife Judy runs the place anyway, so stick with her and you'll be just fine. I have found Pat to be an excellent service technician. You can trust him to do your work.
